Apex Adventure Tours utilizes
the services of qualified Instructors and
experienced climbers to help you climb that dream
peak in the India Western Himalayas. We assist you
from the beginning from selecting a peak and
region, giving you details of the routes and the
number of days required for that specific
expedition and providing you the best support
team, transport, camp equipment and staff
including porters and mules.
All Himalayan peaks require a
permit from Indian Government which can be
obtained from Indian mountaineering Foundation in
new Delhi. This nodal agency also provide a
Liaison officer and hires out walkie-talkies for a
nominal fee.
The best season for climbing in
the Indian Western Himalayans is from May to early
October. Zaiskar and Ladakh do not experience the
India monsoon as they fall under the rain shadow
region of Himalayas hence making for ideal
expeditions in the region during june, july August
and September.
We suggest you apply at least 5
months in advance by contacting the India
mountaineering foundation, New Delhi and
requesting the mandatory application froms needed
to be submitted for a mountain expedition .please
ensure that from are filled inaccurately as
mistakes could set back your permission by a few
months.
