Manali
– Bijli Mahadev - 3Nts / 4 Days
April
to November
We start
from the small village of Naggar and head south on
a well-defined path. You get great views of the
lower Beas valley and spot small houses clinging
to the hillsides across the river. The entire walk
is through dense forests and apple orchards by
passing a few quaint villages. We halt for the
night at the Jana village.
Leaving early the next
morning we continue on the path which is now a
level walk till we reach our campsite for the
night. Leave camp after a hearty breakfast and
reach Bijli Mahadev a temple famous for its yearly
lightening strikes on its Shivling within the
temple. Camp near the temple and leave the next
morning back to Manali via Kullu.
